Kenyan author and opinion maker Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor will deliver the lecture.

With the cooperation of, among others, Nhlanhla Mahlangu (known from The Head and the load, William Kentridge) with his choir Phuphuma love minus; Adriaan van Dis, Mohau Modisakeng, Wasim Arslan & Babs Gons.
The Nelson Mandela Lecture is the annual highlight of ZAM's #ImagineMandela programme.

Building a World Beyond Them and Us
#Imagine-Mandela-Live! is an initiative by ZAM with the support of the Municipality of Amsterdam and the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Patrons: Femke Halsema (Mayor of Amsterdam), Conny Braam (writer, former President of the Dutch Anti Apartheid Movement), Mpho Tutu (reverend), Adriaan van Dis (writer), Marjan Goslings (former judge), Zakes Mda (writer/visual artist) and Hennah Draaibaar (producer).
