Mente Wijsman

Mente Wijsman (2010) has wanted to become an actor from a very young age. From the age of 8, Mente has attended the NKT-Theaterschool (Nederlands Kinder Theater). He participated in several productions of the NKT-Theaterschool in theatre De Purmaryn. This theatre season, he is a member of the Wijk Jury JONG of Purmerend, this Wijk Jury is allowed to judge various performances.

Mente's first acting experience for television was in a commercial for peanut butter. There he got a taste of how much fun it was to be on a set. Recently, he played a small role in Het Klokhuis. He did several auditions for theatre and film and experienced that you learn a lot from this and that you also regularly get the lid on your nose. Above all, he is amazed that something that is so much fun can actually be your job.

Mente is in the third year at Xplore Agora Amsterdam. A school where you set your own learning goals, which comes in handy if you also like acting! He also plays volleyball, has been singing for years and is teaching himself to play the piano.

In season 23|24, Mente can be seen at ITA in Medea (directed by Simon Stone).
