ITA Academy
An evening at ITA is more than just a performance. ITA Academy offers space for exploration and advancement. An ongoing dialogue with our audience and colleagues about inspiration, social developments and theatre-making.
You can gain more in-depth knowledge through video introductions, podcasts, discussions afterwards and through our context programmes. -|-Students can follow workshops at the ITA Academy. Each year, we put on special performances with young people. Amateurs can follow master classes, or play in one of our theatres.
As a professional, ITA Academy has a lot to offer too. Besides being a training institute, ITA Academy is the centre of the theatre tradition in the Netherlands. In our monumental theatre in the heart of the city of Amsterdam, you will find a large historical collection of paintings of actors in the Netherlands. We feel part of that history, of which we are proud.
